An Honest Deal: Your February 2018 Newsletter

This month, our community continued to be rocked by scandal, revelations of missteps and resignations at the highest levels of our education system. Public trust in the system has been shaken across all eight wards. Our families are ready for an honest deal and that starts with a new way forward.

In February, I continued to lead conversations about what that new way forward should look like: new principles that guide our system's mission and new ways for families and communities to lead the process.

I've been able to hear from parents, teachers, and students who are convinced it is time to change the way we do education in our city. I won't stop ensuring that your voices are heard and that we are always doing what's best for kids. Thanks,
